Set in the heart of the National Forest in Leicestershire, England, Fire & Stars is a back-to-nature woodland campsite built around simplicity, community and time outdoors.
Our spacious pitches are tucked among the trees, each with its own fire pit for long evenings around the flames and unhurried nights under dark skies. There is no overcrowding here, just space to breathe, explore and properly switch off.
By day, wander woodland trails, play a round on our disc golf course, or simply slow down and watch the forest change around you. By evening, gather around the fire or step into the warmth of our wood-fired woodland sauna with cold plunge pools, open to both campers and local visitors.
Fire & Stars is not just somewhere to stay. It is somewhere to reconnect with nature, with others and with yourself.

Hidden deep in the trees at Fire & Stars is our wood-fired woodland sauna with cold plunge pools.
Sessions run throughout the week and are open to the public, so you don’t need to be camping to visit.
Step into the heat, cool down in the plunge pools and relax in the fresh forest air.

Our pitches are spread out amongst 10 acres of trees, making it feel like your own private area of woodland.

All our pitches sit within the trees. There are spaces big enough for large family tents.

All our pitches have fire pits for you to cosy up to an open fire, cook and enjoy one of natures wonders.

We have campervan pitches accessible from a hard track. They sit within the trees to make an unforgettable woodland campervan experience.
The Woodland Camping Experience.
Pitch it.
Book one of our spacious pitches for tents within the woodlands for a unique camping experience.
Each pitch is large enough to accommodate most tent sizes and is ideal for families or groups who wish to get together.
Build it.
Each pitch has its own wild woodland fire pit (an essential part of the wild camping experience).
Wood packages can be ordered with your booking so that you can light your campfire under the stars. Firewood is also available to buy on site during your visit.

Whether it be cooking on the camp fire, looking up at the stars, climbing trees or enjoying some of the local attractions, you will always leave with a smile on your face and a spring in your step.
As the threat to our Woodlands continues to grow, our trees and woods face a challenging combination of pressures from humans, pests and diseases.
