FAQ

  • Do I need to bring a tent?

    Yes you do. We provide beautiful pitches within the woodland where you can pitch your tent.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Yes, well behaved dogs are very welcome on site. You can add them during the booking process.

  • Can I sleep in a hammock?

    Yes, no problem. Lots of people use hammocks on our site. Just add a note during the booking and we will allocate a suitable pitch for your hammocks.

  • Do you allow Campfires?

    Yes we do. Every pitch has its own firepit where you can safely have a fire and enjoy one of natures most enchanting wonders.

  • Can I buy firewood onsite?

    Yes you can, we have bags of firewood available to purchase on site as well as kindling, firelighters and other useful bits.

  • Will I have my own private area to camp in?

    Yes you will. All of our pitches are nestled within the woodland with plenty of space between you and other campers. All pitches have their own private campfire pit as well.

  • We want to come with friends, can we have pitches near to each other?

    Yes absolutely, we have lots of family groups visit us. Just add a note during your booking and we will allocate pitches near to each other.

  • My tent is quite large, will it fit?

    Unlike traditional campsites all our pitches are nestled within the woodland, so the footprint for tents may be restricted by trees. However a lot of our pitches can accommodate tents of up to 7.5m by 5m. If you have a large tent just add a note during the booking process and we will allocate a suitable pitch.

  • How spread out are your pitches?

    All our pitches are spread out to ensure you have your own private space within the woodland. We are not like a traditional camp site where you find tent after tent right next to each other. Its one of the things our guests comment on most that they weren’t expecting such a large camping area.

  • Check in and Check out Times

    Check-in from 12 (midday)
    Check-out by 11am.
    It really helps us if we know your arrival time so please send us a message 24 hours before your arrival to let us know your estimated time of arrival.

  • Do you have showers?

    We don’t have showers onsite but there are showers available at the pub opposite the campsite just a couple of mins walk away.
