NEWS: Fire & Stars shortlisted for finals of Leicestershire Tourism and Hospitality Awards 2021

Fire & Stars have been shortlisted as finalists in two categories for the Leicestershire Tourism and Hospitality Awards 2021.

The woodland campsite will be in the mix to win the Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism Award as well as New Tourism Business Award.

The winners of all eight categories will be announced at a new ‘Leicestershire Tourism Day’, taking place in Swithland on March 22.

Matt Cropp from Fire & Stars said the whole team were delighted to have their hard work recognised and were excited to be a part of the upcoming event.

“We are grateful to the judges for looking kindly upon the work we have done and are looking forward to the Tourism Day next month,” added Matt.

“As a business which opened its doors during a pandemic, we have been meticulous on making sure that we have been adhering to local and national guidelines as we opened to the public our beautiful woodland in the heart of the National Forest.

Visitors

“Our early success in attracting a good numbers of visitors through the gate has been a testament to how hard everyone has worked to create such a special place that can be enjoyed in a unique way by campers.

“And as a business, we are hugely invested in being ethical, responsible and sustainable with the things we do and the way we do things.

“Everyone at Fire & Stars is committed to making sure that we create an environment that can not only be enjoyed right now… but one that can be enjoyed by our children - and their children in the future too.”
